Padlock Ranch

“The folks at the Padlock Ranch have been in the ranching business since 1943 when the Scott family put down roots along the Tongue River near the Montana-Wyoming border. The operation has expanded over the years and currently runs over 11,000 reputation beef cattle in an area that encompasses 450,000 acres. The ranch also supports a fine string of horses that know the ropes.”

The historic Padlock Ranch has become an icon of western ranching. In 2013, the Padlock Ranch was awarded the National Cattlemen's Beef Association's Region Five Environmental Stewardship award. In 2012, Wayne Fahsholtz, past president of the Padlock and the current coordinator for Sheridan (Wyo.) College's Ranch Sustainability Forum and owner of AgWin Consulting, was recognized with the National Beef Quality Assurance award.

Equestrian Center

Sheridan's legendary Mint Bar has been serving frosty brews since 1907, with only a short hiatus* during prohibition (*The Mint Still ran a speakeasy in the back). The meeting place for cowboys, ranchers, locals and travelers alike to grab a barstool, kick back a cold one and spread the tall tales of town. Although the ice is no longer delivered via horse and carriage, the rustic cowboy character lives on. I'll meet you at the Mint, my friend!

I have had the privilege of modeling and filming TV Shows at these locations in the past, and know the owners well.

I cannot wait to introduce you to a few of my favorite destinations from my hometown.
